All is well – Why is it that people are able to really appreciate the beauty of life best in hindsight? How difficult is it to actually absorb every fleeting minute in our day to day existence? This song was my speech to my husband reminding him to ignore daily stress and live his life now.
lyrics
ALL IS WELL
It’s a tick and a tock and a pile of pages
It’s a step and a trip on the miles of pavement
It’s a dance round the sun though it shines often dimly
It’s a change in the tides as the ocean abrades
Battles are won
Shelter is warm
Walls will protect us from the storm
Chapters in print
Stories to sell
Try to remember all is well
mmmmm…
It’s a matter of fact, you’re learning the hard way
Try to steer on the track cause you’re now pulling weight
As you pull from the hat you’re no longer a novice
And the smiles on your back are so hard to discern
Battles are won….
